I have really lost my creative mojo during the lockdown. I’m starting to get some spark of creativity back but it’s been really hard. I had an idea on trying to cut out some letters with my etcher potentially in cardboard, as I have a large stock of it right now after the bathroom refit.

So I got to thinking what sorts of font I could use and decided on a block style, one which I know I can use for future projects and my brain is already thinking way in the future.

I cut out 8 letters from the sheet of cardboard, tessellating them to make sure I got the most from the material. Once they were cut, I stuck them together with a glue stick and this was the end result.

I looked at them and thought they looked a litle bit boring, so gave them a lick of paint. I prepped the whole area with white spray paint first off, then once that had dried, I used some paint pens I found online which I had seen others using on YouTube.

I was quite pleased with the result!
