I found a Kickstarter campaign for a product called Doqo, which changes am iPad into near enough a laptop, with a keyboard and mouse etc.
I invested in January this year and despite all the Covid malarkey they still got it delievered pretty well on time, it was a couple of months late.
My previous laptop was avery old Dell Precision M50 and back then I had designed a logo to go on the front of it, cut from vinyl. However after being stuck to the laptop since the early 2000’s, it would not come off. The logo is my own creation with the word ‘oxy‘ in the middle, in reference to my favourite musician, Jean Michel Jarre and his album ‘Oxygene’whichis my favourite.
I decided to re-draw the design again in Affinity Designer and here is the logo as a finished design.
When the doqo arrived I knew I had to get the new graphic ready to go on the front, so went online and found a sticker supplier and uploaded the artwork. The next day the sticker arrived and I carefully applied it to the case.
I as very happy with the result, as my case is now not like every other laptop!
